Calendar Changes for 2026-27 School Year

The Anchorage School District Teacher Apprenticeship Program offers a “grow-your-own” pathway for aspiring educators to earn their teaching certification while working in ASD classrooms.

Improving Student Attendance
A missed school day is a lost opportunity for students to learn. There is a direct correlation between students who attend school regularly and higher academic achievement levels.
